Done!
I guess this kind of thing needs to go into the technical database once its up and running.
Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc
Cheers Lauren.
do you want to change the title to reflect the range of models covered rather than just MK1 as per the thread title?

Hi Paul,
Several places have it listed as that, and i did measure it myself when i turned the concentric rings for my alloys, and yep, it's 54.1 mm.
Rather stragne measurement I thought! I've a feeling that they used that meaurement to take into account any slight imperfections on the hub.

2 1/8 inches +14thou clearance?
Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc
Don't shoot the messenger!
Thats the reason i meaured it, and the sort of gear I meaured it with (slow day at work, research laser lab downstairs......) doesn't lie and came back at 54.1 (well, 54.1000003 i think) average on 3 hubs.

If Mk2 offset is supposed to be 35 - 38 why do the OE wheels state offset of 45?

The fitment guide i have in work says:
Mk1 = et35
Mk2 = et45
Mk3 = et40
Mk1 = et35
Mk2 = et45
Mk3 = et40
Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc

Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc
so what other cars will a set of wheels from my mk2 go on??
need to put them on ebay
need to put them on ebay
Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc
Hmm, my recently aquired REV1 turbo has got Kosei's on with an offset of 45 and in comparrison to other 2's I've had, the wheels sit inwards to far. This is great, explains why, and gives me yet another reason to buy a new set.
Thats Kelvin, chers mate.

Re: Mk1, MK2, MK3 PCD, etc
I'm wondering about the mk3 wheels on a mk1 too.
Did the mk3 wheels always come as a pair of 15s and a pair of 16s or was there a brief period where they were 15s all round?
