I would imagine that it would sound awful, but certainly fit one and tell us the outcome.

The cheaper option would be to repeatedly stamp your foot on the floor in time to the music.

Just drive the car into a wall at 70, you'll get the best bass thump of your life.

Its not unusual for people to stick a big sub under the bonnet and add a couple of ports through the firwall but it's still daft. The MR2 cockpit is tiny, it doesn't need huge subs to get good sound... guess that won't impress your Corsa mates though ;)

well my friend had a spl motor with a wall of 4 18s and 16.000watts rms,hit 161 db!!! that was very low street bass as well so one 10/12 in a tiny box dont sound like anything to me after 4 18s!

I've tried a few different combinations in mine, I had a alpine type R under the front bonnet and that sounded extremley loud but there was not enough clarity for my liking.
i've now just installed a Kicker solobaric behind the passenger seat and it's amazing, crisp clean solid bass and it drops like a b**tch!!!

Just drive behind him, he has enough bass for everyone :)

A MK1 owner has a 15 in the passenger footwell!

Anyway I'm fairly sure 15's into a MK2 have been done... the answers are out there.... I thought I had a pic actually but all I can find is this:

what kind of music do you listen to to warrant a 15"???
I lsiten to hip hop and r n b and belienve 2 10 's would be MORE than enough in a '2.

small subs are designed for fast bass.
larger subs produce a longer bass tone.
The larger the sub, will not neccessily mean its a lower note. Spend your money on 2 good smaller ones and stick 1 behind each seat.

16000W RMS? ](*,) That install must have been well into five figures.
Surprised your eyes havent burst yet mate?

i thought a 12" can cope at 35 hz personally. although will double check 2moz at work as we are an hifi specialist (although not car audio).

I'd lean towards something like the pic in michael's post if you wanna go big but make it your own tho. No one likes a copy cat.

I must admit, ive never heard of any of those groups/bands/singers, whatever they are, but well done anyway
