Interesting I wasn't aware of these.

Hi Tony,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Hope you are well!

The igniter is the same for REV3+ turbo and N/A
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(except beams)
The part number for it 89621-16020 and 89621-26010
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
<-both the same thing.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Many corollas, rav4 and others using it so easy to get used.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
If you want to get new, that's a different story.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have a spare one I can borrow it if you want.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Got it from fleebay for
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
£10 as a spare.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The igniter using the chassis ground so make sure it has good connection to its bracket.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
If it wouldn't be grounded, you get a code 14 and no start.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Hang on, just thinking now I had similar issue few years ago and it was the tiny little hose going to the MAP sensor.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Once I replaced it, there were no more hesitation.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Should this not work, you can check if the igniter has good ground with a multimeter.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
While working with the multimeter, you might as well check the 3 temperature sensors for the ECU.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I know which wires to check at the ECU connector, just ask me if it comes down to that.
