When I drove the car the other day, it got some wiring nosie come out from the engine bay, when it around 2k rev
checked from main dealer, they said is heat shield cos down pipe loose, and they said need 700 pounds for the down pipe .
wonder is anyone in here got this problem b4 and how to sort it, please let me know, thanks very much guys

Andy many Mk3 owners run without the heatshield, which is our easiest/cheapest fix.
From there you could replace your manifold with a Che manifold or you could upgrade your manifold with either a PPE manifold or a Zero manifold
Have you still got the pre-cats inside your current manifold? if so you might like to get them removed as they are known to break up and find their way back into your engine causing ££££'s of damage
