Best place to get an electric aerial for mk1?

Post by mattyp »

Have decided the aftermarket fixed aerial looks silly and I need an electric one. I don't really need a toyota one, just wondered if anyone knows a particular place/manufacturer/model that fits & works well.

I saw one on ebay for £40 but this seems quite alot.

Maplins sell one for £20 the last time i looked. Fitted one to my last Mk1 and it worked well, just a slight mod to the wiring is needed.

Amusingly the one on ebay is the same one they sell in Maplin for £20. Not bad, seller making £15 a pop on 'em after fees & posting....
