Does anyone know what the red button-type thing with an arrow(clockwise only)in the front boot is?it's located just behind the headlight,& is covered by a removable black cap. When the lights are in the up position and i turn it,the level of the light alters.BUT when i operate the lights it seems to reset itself. It obviously moves the cam which attaches the motor to the light body but whats the purpose if it resets itself?
I'm trying to find an easy way to get my lights to both pop-up at the same time
Cheers
Dave

Dave,
The main job is to allow you to raise/lower the headlamp if/when the motor fails. Be really careful with it though and don't turn it needlessly. I tried turning it on mine to see what it did and the answer was it wound the headlamp up - up to the point the electronics decided it was up and powered up the motor to wind it back down which chaffed a tad.
Cheers,
Si.
