sidelight/dash light/rear light problem!!!! PLEASE HELP!

Post by nightSpirit »

Surely someone on here has had a similar problem, gotta be atleast 1 electrical wizard who owns an MR2!.

My sidelights don't work, indicators do and headlights....brake lights work, fog lights work...but rear lights don't. The Defi gauges light up on self test, but no dash illumination.

The bulbs are all fine, assuming the wiring to the lights is fine...can anyone suggest what is causing it? which wire from the loom is the one for the sidelights? I've tested every wire I can from under the steering column and none of them seem to relate to the sidelights switch stalk. I think the fuses are fine also....any ideas? want to try and fix it this week.

I think the one for the rear lights is in the drivers footwell but don't quote me on it.

so are we talking about the fuse box in the footwell then? I can take another look there....I'm sure it's a fuse or something that's blown
