Leaking sunroof 1991 Uk Rev1

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help. I replaced the sunroof on my 1991 Rev 1 MR2 (as my original one developed a crack in it) and since fitting the replacement I have a leak getting in on the drivers side front. The gap between the sunroof seal edge and the roof of the car has a wider gap (2 mm) than on the passenger side.

Is it possible to replace the seal around the sunroof glass or should I just keep trying different used sunroofs until I get one which works (as I presume these can't be purchased new anymore ?).

Appreciate any help from folks.

Since you've posted in December, I assume that the seal is hard and is probably taken the shape of the previous sunroof. I'd be inclined to change the seal. However I don't know if there are any differences in sunroofs, you'd have to check a parts catalogue for that. My T-bar is starting to leak, so I'm going to change my seal...

How's your research so far? We got this incoming Rev 1 MR2 project we'll work on after we finished installing the set of wheels from 4Wheelonline onto the current Wrangler project. The sunroof of the car is leaking badly. Appreciate it if you update us here. TIA
