A new O2 sensor didn't cure this and then recently I got the car out from winter hibernation and the Engine management light came on.

When I stick a wire in the te1 e1 diagnostic port terminals the orange light stays lit or goes very dim and also the fuel pump is cutting in and out when just the ignition is on.

I've just replaced 2 capacitors and when I plugged the ECU back it the diagnostic port worked!! And gave me a 41 code.
