[Mk2] [Turbo] Suspected cv joint failure

Post by chrisE »

Hi everyone,

I think my left rear cv joint is quickly failing on my '95 turbo, started making a knock noise increasing in speed, now it's a grinding noise. I can't seem to find a blue print replacement, just "shaftec" ones, are these worth a punt? Or should I just get a used driveshaft complete with joints?

Thanks in advance

Is it the inner or the outer CV?

Neither. Turned out to be two loose nuts on the wheel. Panic over
