Recaro seat rails, fit any other Recaro seat?

Ive heard somewhere that all Recaro seats share the same bolt pattern so the rails off one set, say a pair of OEM fishnets would fit any other Recaro seat.

Before I go getting myself into an expensive mess, does anyone know if theres any truth in this? Ive done the usual google searching but nothing concrete comes up.

I dont have any specific seats in mind at the moment, but I do have rails from my current Recaro fishnets so just trying to get an answer to the above question for the moment.

what's the distance between the 2 bolt holes on the rails you have?

I'll go measure my evo7 recaros and see if it's the same.

They will fit other base mounted recaros like out of an evo, honda, proton etc but won't fit the ford, Vauxhall, Suzuki, and rover recaros.
Aftermarket recaros like the l lx speed etc fit.
