Colour and car looks great in grey, although I am biased.

Grey is awesome.

I like grey cars.

So here's the spec. I just added up the total cost to build this car and it's £18k excluding the cost of labour and the original 3sgte rev3 engine out of my yellow one. Yikes! Got a great deal with sky insurance and will hopefully get the agreed value setup soon.

Anyway here's the engine spec:

Fully Forged and running a conservitive 400bhp
Complete rebuild with all new Toyota gaskets/seals
Tuned by Tuning Developments
Wossner Pistons
Eagle Rods
Arp Bolts Head Bolts
ACL Cam Bearings
ACL Bearings on Crank
HKS Cam Pulleys
HKS CamBelt
HKS Steel Head Gasket
Brian Crower Titanium Valve springs and Retainers
Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams Inlet and Exhaust
6 Puk Racing Clutch
Fidanza Alloy Lightened Flywheel
Garret GT3076R Steel Bearing Turbo
Wallbro 255 Fuel Pump
Tial External Waste gate
TurboSmart Blow off Valve
Ceramic Coated Downpipe
LSD
Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust (bung Included)
Blitz SUS Power Intake
Greddy Side Mount Intercooler with Spal Fan
Magenecor Ignition Leads (New as Of 2017 With New Dizzy and rotor)
Apexi Power FC ECU with Hand Controller
Greddy Profec OLED Boost controller
New water pump
New oil pump
New Cam Belt Pully and Tensioner Assembly

It's also had new seats, brakes, subwoofer, touch screen, guages, steering wheels, skirts etc etc fitted. I'll hopefully transfer my plate back onto it soon and get some good use this summer before i take it off the road for the winter.

Very classy :thumleft: Saw it for myself. Your spec is almost the same as mine.

I've seen your car about at Luke's old place I remember. I think I even asked Luke if you would sell it to me lol.

I think we've met before also. Spoke to a few people on Sunday but didn't get to you. Next time maybe.

Quick update:

The stock rear engine bay brace wouldn't fit due to the turbo position. So I hunted down a cuscu brace and fitted that. Also picked up a dirt cheap berk twin exit with the intention of cleaning it up and polishing. It also had a problem of what sounded like the internals having colapsed. So I cut a square in each can and removed the part of the interals that had come lose. Then welded it back up.

Unfortunatly no ammount of wire brush and polish would bring it back to anywhere near decent looking. So I've painted it matt black with high temp paint. The Nur Spec is as good as new still but I fancied something not as loud and boomy.

Also fitted a later spec MR2 steering wheel and I prefer to the aftermarket one.

Also test fitted an aerowave splitter to complete the car. I'll hopefully get that to the bodyshop soon for paint.

I'm loving the sound of the berk. Sounds a bit more throaty and not as boomy as the nur spec. When I cut it open I was actually shocked that there's nothing in the way of baffles inside. It's pretty much straight through so will flow well. I also heat wrapped the mid pipe that runs under the engine bay to hopefully reduce the heat soack in the engine bay.

Yeah I love it. I used a bbq paint on it so not sure how it will last. The car is a garage queen that doesn't go out in the wet so I'm sure it will be ok. Only time will tell.

Finally had the front splitter painted and strengthened. I also added the Nur spec again. I love this car. Gave it a quick wash and took a few photos. The paint job still looks awesome!
