Time has come to have a new clutch fitted, A friends son talked me into " smoking the tyres" today, which is A..immature (50yr old !! ) B..wasteful C..potentially expensive. All of which is irrelevant to me really..got an audi estate to be sensible in .
but,to the point.. clutch span, wheels didnt .. first time its happened!
so i'm looking for recommendations, a clutch which is not a b1tch in traffic and grabs, not ott in price, which wont embarrass me after 20 or so "spirited departures".
And where do people recommend for fitting in west yorkshire ? ( pete gidden Sbits, 100% first choice, great guy, excellent mechanic ect.. will be contacting him tomorrow. hopefully.)
opinions ect please...

Nothing wrong with an OEM clutch. Make sure you buy a genuine Toyota throw out bearing to go with it.
I've run 12 second 1/4 miles on a stock Toyota clutch in my last turbo.
