Mk1b motor into mk1a dash warning light issue!
Hi there after some advice as I have recently fitted a mi1b motor into my mk1a and it all runs perfect and have good oil pressure and voltage showing on the dash. The problem is when I turn the ignition key to position one I only get the brake warning light and ecu light on, both go off once started and hand brake off. I am from what I can gather missing the engine bay temp warning light and alternator warning lights on start up. Is there something simple I have missed or is it a more complex issue? Thanks in advance for any help.

Is it charging ok once running?
Check the alternator is plugged in, check the 5amp "charge" fuse.
