Anyone fancy a meet/run in the plymouth area?
Was thinking a winter run across dartmoor would be pretty neat!

Re: Plymouth Area
Youu sorted your clutch/ gearbox then?
I'm still up for it, just need some nice weather!
Be good to do a rolling road day down here too, need to see what my 2 is making before i do any mods!
So that's 4 of us now, should be a good day. Still think there must be more members down here.

Re: Plymouth Area
we should organise a meet+run for early march, when everyone has been paid. If the weather is good perhaps a moorland run
The place i had my clutch done have a RR, might see what sorta price they can do us if a few of us turn up for an afternoon.....
james i got a torque wrench you can borrow if you want to come down, but you will need to buy some large hex bits for a 1/2 inch drive, i think that allen key i gave you is 10mm? double check it (its written on it) and thats the size you need
Or--- i can come up, the missus wants a go in a turbo lol

Re: Plymouth Area
OK, here is what i think would make for an awesome meetup,
Primarily for anyone in devon / cornwall as its not too far to go with current petrol prices
find a suitable central area to meet, i would say plymouth but thats because i live here. Exeter would also be good.
Drive across the moors to princetown, park in one of the lovely dartmoor car parks for the "meeting" + awesome backdrop for photos, then onto ashburton, then down to paignton / torquay for some fish and chips by the seaside.
If anyone is interested, please PM me and i will get on the case. Let me know where you live and your preferred meeting spot.

Re: Plymouth Area
No I don't think it did. My 2 has been off the road for 18 months, just got it running again last night so it'd be good to try and get a RR day sorted if people are still interested.
A guy I know runs a VW club so could possibly join up with another club to make up numbers for a better price.
