You sure it was an S reg, that's a 98 reg year, mk1s were stopped being made in 89. Also can't be a private the as it's not allowed to make the car appear younger.

Looks like it's an 'old-style' P-reg suffix private plate, which would make it a 1975 registration

Hi, that would be the one. Was the only 2 I saw there and what a fine example it was. I turned up with a bunch of scoobys and a gtr. Didn't fancy turning up to a car show in my 2 after someone rearranged the rear end of it haha
