Thanks,

You need one like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fix-Fast-Flas ... 3f18a1d525
My car was JDM and the pin-out of the relay socket had B & E (- & +) reversed to what that relay I linked is, however the OEM relay was the same as the ebay one and had a small attachment fitted to sort that. Was just a slide on female to male spade to flip the L terminal from top to bottom (or vice versa) so you could rotate the relay 180 degrees.
^^ That might sound more complicated then it is without a picture, in short that's the relay!

Sounds simple enough!
Just had a little hunt for the relay and found it, however the OEM relay has some sort of plastic bracket on it? Will I need the plastic bracket for fitting the LED relay?

Unclip the plastic bracket and the adaptor to reverse the pin out is underneath

I won't need the bracket for the LED flasher relay?
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Led Flasher Relay?!
Dont think I used it as there was no lugs for the plastic part to clip onto the led flasher, all you need is the metal adaptor underneath.

My led relay is just pushed into place without the metal adapter

Seriously , you don't know the answer to this? and you call yourself a car mechanic
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Led Flasher Relay?!
My oem relay had the adaptor as standard as the car wiring was the opposite to the relay pin out

This bit in the picture which I used in my old car
but found Trevor had just fitted the relay without it on this car
when I removed it to fit mine then realised it was an led one and refitted.
I will compare the two led relays

Yeah same as what I had, I never actually tried with the metal adaptor, the led flasher pinout matched the toyota one so I just fitted it and away I went.

Ahhh gotcha so the LED Relay will just fit in without the plastic adapter and not fall out?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Led Flasher Relay?!
It depends on which led relay you get
In the picture the one on the left goes straight in and works
Where the one on the right needs the metal adapter fitting before going into the car

I got myself that exact flasher relay. So hopefully just need to add the metal fitting and then no more load resistors!
