Since buying my mr2 the engine warning lights been on, I had the code read and the problem was the O2 Sensor (bank 1, sensor 2) after the cat. Toyota quoted me £260 to replace it so after reading a few threads on the subject I decided to buy a decent brand (denso) one from the US.
Looking on twos r us they state that the mr2 mk2 uses the same O2 sensor as the mr2 mk3 does after the cat. Can anyone confirm this?

It's not the right one. That ad states 2-wire (and shows 2 wire in the picture).
The mk3 uses a four wire one.
To be honest I'm surprised the mk2 doesn't use a four wire one.

P.S. It's also a common topic on the roc.
Usual recommendations are, get Denso branded, not universal. And http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/ seems to have a good rep on price and delivery.

Later turbos do. Only rev1 and rev2 cars have 2wire (non heated) sensors.
