Cheap Drop Links

Post by CJ B »

I understand that BMW mini rear droplinks will fit the front of an MR2 and cost £20 each.

Does anyone know what year / revision is this for (I'm hoping rev1 turbo ;) )

I also heard a rumour that Volvo ones will fit the rear, anyone got any info on this?

Cheers,
Chris.

That's very interesting, 20 squid is a hell of a lot less than 70!

I talked to someone that reconns steering boxes etc. about them a while ago and the best they could source them for was not a lot less than Mr T... but he also said it might be possible to re-grease them and nip them in a vice to take the slack out of them. As long as they dont fail and cause you to take out a bus load of nuns you're laughing if it works...

I got 2 rear droplinks (larger "barrel" type) from Hyeline Performance in Cardiff for £80 the pair. :o

Check out www.hyeline.com
