Decent seats (at last) in an MR2. :+:

What has become of my thread!?

Nah, I had these in my Rev2 originally. They were too firm and not nearly as supportive as Recaros normally are. Plus the headrests are pointless (I like headrests to rest against my head on long journeys).

So I swapped them for the half leather/alcantara seats. Sooo much more comfortable and supportive.

Have to agree that the stock Tubby cloth seats are both very comfortable and adjustable too.

I swapped both stock seats out for Recaro Pole Positions that I bought second hand. They were the factory option seats from the Aston Martin V8 Vantage so they have the Aston Martin embroidery on the head rest instead of the Recaro embroidery, lol.

For bucket seats these are surprisingly wide and comfy. The improvement in lateral support is immediately obvious but there's no way they could be described as more comfortable than the stock seats. Rear visibility is also slightly worse due to the high seat backs compared to the stock seats.
