coolant sensor.

Post by Ja99a »

Help,
I pulled the insides of one of the temperature sensors from the water housing when I removed the plug...

It's a mk2 Turbo rev 1/2, its the lowest sensor on the water housing that has the 22mm socket, I can't seem to find the correct replacement part no can anyone help and provide me a link to a cheap one :)

Mine went the same way and i believe tcb didnt have any and they are mega bucks from toyota.
Either make do without it by unplugging it or find a secondhand one. I managed to find one secondhand for about a tenner.

One thing i never noticed any difference with and without it.

Turns out its the cold start temp switch, it's needed to make starting easier.

I just plumed for a 2nd hand one.
