'Big perm' makes me think you'd be picking bits of (short &?) curly hair out of the headrests forever and a day!

Rev 3 started in Japan late '93, in UK it was on an 'M' 95

Not sure that's correct. s.

It's not correct

I've been misunderstood, you can get a rev 3 'L'JDM but not UK L reg rev 3 UKDM.

Yes I do get the rev 3 4 ?. I've a 95 plate m reg which from vin no. Is a rev 1 and certainly no more than rev 2 rather than 3 as the plate would suggest.

Agreed it would be nice to see the sills under the skirts. From the fb and Instagram pictures it looked like it had more than just a blow over on the paint work.
I'm probably one of the few that don't like the wheels, I think they suit an older style vehicle really. And the harnesses also bother me.

I hadn't noticed the Speedo issue but was aware it had been off road for 5 years.

I've had my rev 5 off road for nearly 3 years. I guess I ought get it back on the road. I think the thing is I like the tin top and the colour. I'm a massive fan of the toms side skirts. And feel the n.a. is just too slow on pick up.

That said Swansea is a long way away from me to go to look at a car with quite a few question marks over.

I've got a Preg rev4 turbo shell just to add to everyone's confusion

I had this discussion with a few guys on another group, if it's a rev4 it's missing the airbag which surely suggests a crash at some point as no one in the right mind would strip a full interior out just to swap the dash and we know it hasn't been resprayed so can't be that!

Also found out it jumps out of 5th gear, so that would assume part of the gearbox is knackered.
If it was perfect and it is rev4 I'd say worth the money, but it's not

How did you find out about the 5th gear issue?
Have you been to see it?

Unfortunate, strangely I eluded to something similar in a previous post.

Given the exposure that company had in videos, it's a shame.

I must of missed those other posts. Just glad I didn't go cor it. Would have been completely gutted. It's the sort of thing that makes you fall out of love with cars.

It was very top money for what it was even if it was clean. I hope the buyer gets something sorted. As mentioned a few alarm bells were the description advertising it as a rev4 when it is a rev3, the blow over, speedo not working, etc.
