,THE HOLE CENTRES TO FIT THE ORIGINAL BOLT HOLES ARE 405mm APART AND A

45º CHAMFER HAS BEEN CUT FROM THE LEADING EDGE, THIS CLEARS THE CURVE AT EACH SIDE OF THE FOOTWELL,

I THEN DRILLED TWO HOLES ONE ABOVE THE OTHER 20mm DOWN FROM THE TOP OF THE ALUMINIUM AT 405mm APART, EACH HOLE IS 10mm THE TWO HOLES ARE THEN FILED INTO ONE HOLE, THIS GIVES YOU AN ADJUSTABLE FRONT BRACKET AND ALLOWS FOR ANY VARIATIONS WHEN FITTING,

THE POP RIVITS ARE USED

AS GUIDES M8 NUTS AND BOLTS HOLD THE SEAT TO THE ALUMINIUM, USE THREAD LOCK ON THE M8 BOLTS AND CUT THEM OFF AT THE NUT.





THE NEXT PIC SHOWS THE BRACKET AT THE REAR OF THE SEAT ON THE DRIVERS LEFT SIDE, ITS BEEN GROUND BACK AND ANOTHER HOLE HAS BEEN DRILLED.



YOULL FIND THIS BOLT BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT.THE MODIFIED REAR BRAKET WITH THE NEW HOLE FITS TO THIS; THE ORIGINAL HOLE HAS BEEN FILLED WITH A BOLT.



THE RIGHT HAND REAR BRACKET NEEDS A SMALL ADAPTOR PLATE MADE UP, ITS MADE FROM GALVANISED PLATE ABOUT 70mm LONG, THE HOLES ARE ALREADY IN IT

(BOUGHT FROM B&Q), ITS HELD DOWN WITH THE ORIGINAL BOLT AND THE SILVER ONE IS AN M10 BOLT 50mm LONG WITH TWO 5mm LARGE WASHERS AS SPACERS, WHEN BOLTING THIS DOWN DONT BEND THE PLATE ALLOW IT TO FORM ITS OWN CURVE, THIS WILL HOLD THE M10 BOLT IN PLACE.



YOU CAN NOW FIT THE DRIVERS SEAT AND REPEAT FOR THE OTHER SIDE, THE FOLLOWING PICS SHOW THE SEAT IN PLACE AND THE VARIOUS FITTINGS.











IN THE BELOW THE PLASTIC COVER HAS BEEN TRIMMED.



WHEN THE SEATS ARE IN THEY SEEM TO SIT LOWER THAN THE MK2 SEATS, BUT THE BACKS ARE CERTAINLY HIGHER.
