Window mechanism

Post by dazzz »

Could someone please point me in the direction of a diagram for the drivers side window mech?

Something seems to have come loose and my window sounds clunky. Still have power but the rear of the window seems to move before the front part.

Had pretty much the same problem about a month ago and it looked like a lack of lubrication had stopped one side of the window sliding down its track properly which in turn had jammed and broken one of the mountings.

Youll need to remove your door trim to access it all

One little tip is that there is a black circular seal on the door which if you remove and lower the window the right amount will let you access a nut that seems impossible to access otherwise.

Give us a shout if you get stuck.

Cheers Jeff

I'm hungover today, I'll have a good look at it tomorrow.

Does seem as though the front part of the glass is a little stiff compared to the rear part.
