Guys standing on engines burning up spare wheels with flames with some type of gadget on it? A test of some kind?

Well there is a coil on the spare wheel and wires, these in conjuction with flames would confirm Ben's theory of a DIY flamer kit.

In that case it looks more like a 'lamer kit' though.

What worries me most of all is the way Adam Rickitt / Nick Tilsley is appearing from within the engine bay of the red car.... those OC boys eh, they are cards ;)

I think Pete Carrick has started an MR2 burning craze - I guess Barbeques are cheaper but cooking your dinner on an MR2 is more cool :)

If you look closely at the first picture, the engine lid is actually a trap door that leads to another world. 'Nick' is about to escape this evil world full of three spoke wheels, but (influenced by powerful mind-altering alcohol) changes his mind and falls asleep on the spoiler.

What the hell IS going on there then !!!!! i think Nick was desperate to get in the photo so climbed into the engine bay in attempt to get noticed...however still no one noticed him. Good to see he has got himself a mk2 these days though, atleast i hope its his. If i ever saw someone trying to climb in to my engine bay i would seriosly hurt them !!!!! Not sure why they are trying to ruin the spare tyre while setting up a flamer kit though..... :? And there are a serious lack of spokes about ! :)

You know when you see these guys messing around with a couple of inches of flames out of their exhaust, its good to see somebody taking things to the next level - good on you pete!!

What have you got planned next? Exploding MR2? MR2 in orbit? MR2 Mars Mission?

Neil.

Not too sure yet, the exploding bit has been done. I was thinking something more along the lines of "MR2 thinks it can fly off cliff" or somesuch.

I'd love to send her into orbit, but I just don't have the money at this time of the year, what with it being Christmas and all.
