monthly south east meet!!!

dont know where the original post went, it seems to have been deleted so heres a new one.

we have put the plans in place to have a regular SE meet at the following venue.

red lion pub
water end
hemel hempstead
hp1 3bd

the organised dates are for the first tuesday of every month at 7:30ish!

the dates for '08 are as follows:
january 1st = 9 cars
february 5th = 11 cars
march 4th = 5 cars
april 1st = 12 cars
may 6th = 15 cars
june 3rd = 18 cars
july 1st
august 5th
september 2nd
october 7th
november 4th
december 2nd

we will have a mr2 only parking area sectioned off,
and there will be a seperate dining area for us if we want to eat!

we all meet in the car park and then go in for a few drinks and some food and when the weather is better we will be going for a little blast around the surrounding country lanes etc!

All good mate. Been off to Morocco in Jan and just booked up for some skiing soon too. Teaching on Tuesday eve's is a bit of a pain but gota pay for stuff somehow. Just about to clock 100,000 miles ownership of the 2. Considering I bought it with 82151 on the clock, so 182000 now, that's not bad I reckon and it's still going strong (hope I'm not tyempting fate).
Hope all is good with you. Miche has her mk3 now so we'll see you in March or April when we're free.

Can I recommend that this event is posted monthly instead of creating one huge thread that last the entire year, it will make it easier for people to see who is going to which event. I can understand posting up all the dates now but it does create a athread that hangs around, can get confusing and is not clear who is going when, where or why.

i dont see how its confusing mate, all the info is on page one forthe rest of the year!!

it works on the mr2oc, why shouldn't it work on here?

It is easier for people to read if the title contains the date (and if possible) the time of the meet. Means you get more attention from people as they can tell immediately if its somethign they can attend.

Its not a requirement its a suggestion as to how you might bring some more attention to your events.
