That would be cool!!

The Dreamcast was a fantastic console! Just check out the memory cards!! 8) :thumleft:

Was a damn shame it flopped because of the lack of games and problems with all the delevopers.

I never played a Dream Cast, I hear they were more advanced than the PS2 even though it came out long long before?

IMO people all bought the PS2 because it was trendier, it didnt matter to them that the DC was better.

Sorry, but the Dreamcast was way less powerful than either the PS2 or original Xbox :)

Your right, Thai, it wasn't much behind the PS2, and what it lacked in hardware power it made up for in quality software.

Take Metropolis street racer for instance. You raced the game in Real real time. When you set the game up you did so for your locality. This meant if you set it up for the UK and was racing at 5 pm and it got dark at 5 so did it in the game. To see it turn from light to dusk as it actually did outside was a clever piece of work in my opinion. If you were connected to the internet with it, it would do the weather as well.

In my opinion a great games machine lost out to strong marketing by sony. The PS2 wasn't or isn't that fantastic. I have one and it didn't get much use compared to other consoles I have.

I thought the original Playstation was brilliant. Great design and some really cutting edge games. Wipeout anyone? But by the time the PS2 had come out they were already into sequels galore and I kind of lost interest in it.

Anyway, the dreamcast was a great machine and no one will convince me any different.

Totally agree Spud!

I loved the PS1 but the PS2 looked crap IMO. The graphics are rubbish and nearly all the games!

The Dreamcast looked amazing and had some really good games. Shame it got to the stage at the end where every Dreamcast sold was actually COSTING Sega £20! ](*,) :(

Powerstone 2 could break friendships.
Im gonna disagree with the boys about the PS2. Im a big fan myself with some quality titles.
ExtremeG3, Wipeout Fusion, Soul Reaver, Jak and Daxter, Final Fantasy XII, Xenosaga, GT, GTA, Metal Gear, Resident Evil 4, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, God of War, Prince of Persia............

Final Fantasy XII IMO has the best atmosphere in any game with the most atmopheric game world around.

Lets face it all the big machines have quality titles on them, the DC being no exception and it does have a few qualities over PS2. The texture quality was far better also i believe it could do bump mapping which PS2 cant.
