Hi Paul.

Strange one. Hope it's not a dodgy circuit board behind the dash/dials. I'm not sure if the ECU plays a part in the low warning but as it only takes 2 minutes to reset it, if it were me then I'd give it a go. Just pull the ECU-B fuses fore and aft and then replace after a couple of mins.

Also, when you say the light is on even with a full tank, does the needle stay at the bottom too..? Haven't got any details to hand but I wonder if there's also a fuse that might have popped (check the driver's footwell) but failing that, perhaps your float is jammed in the tank... in which case you could throw some STP cleaner in there or something.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Jonty.

I have this problem aswell, it started after I ran out of petrol (silly me). I reset the ECU but to no avail. I might have to try the STP stuff, seems like something could be jammed! I'll let you know what happens with that.

cheers,

Michael.
