Radiator fans

I've recently taken out the remaining pieces of my air con and have now noticed that both my rad fans are on constantly, the thing is i don't know if it was doing it before or it's just the fact i've now noticed it. Anyone give me ideas on a list of what to look at that could be causing this please.

there is a coolant temp sensor on the bottom of the radiator that if left unplugged will cause the fans to run continously. I'd look there first

I'll have a look if it's come loose but i haven't been in that part of the car at all. What i've removed was the final bits of plumbing under the bonnet and the electrics and innards of the evaporator behind the dash.
