Tubby towcar!

Has anyone else ever towed with their turbo? i had to tonight when my dad's MR2 broke down a few miles away from home.
I was actually quite surprised how well it coped with it all to be honest, although it was a bit scary as my dad's car was completely dead so even the hazard lights weren't working!

p.s. anyone got a spare alternator lying about for a UK spec Rev2 N/A???
