MK3 Bolt On Turbo Kits!!!!

I have been looking at the turbo kits for the MK3 offerd from thor racing and TDI... seriously considering... Has any one got it done.. whats its like and how does it effect the reliabity of the car?? also alot of them offer it with no charge cooling for the stage 1... is this wise???

Hass in the US do a popular turbo kit for the mk3

having bought teh Hass I wouldn't buy it again

I just fitted one for a friend and it is a really really nice piece of kit.

cheaper too.

If it's very low boost you can get away without a cooler.
Why would you want low boos though :twisted:

C2 comes standard with an air to air intercooler

Where do u guys think a good place to have it fitted and mapped would be, i would kinda of like to purchase it and have it fitted at the same venue to avoid any problems..
what kinda power out puts are people achieving with these kits??
any one heard of a supercharger kit like the 1 Lotus use???

supercharger won't fit without serious surgery to either teh firewall or the intake manifold

C2 and Hass are easily DIY install propositions, my record for a Hass is 19 hours flat.

the last C2 even with issues only took 3 days. if your not DIY inclined, anywhere like Rogue or Thor or 3S could easily install for you.

You can't go wrong with TDi IMO. They are not the cheapest but they'll do a fantastic job and you'll be well looked after. Give 'em a call and ask for Mark (the MD) or Sam (Sales Manager), both top guys.
