Do the mini ones have to be drilled?
And is it mini cooper ones only?

| I have had mini ones on for about a year or two with no probs and the car is lowered by 40 mm and you do not have to drill anything to make them fit .Paul

Mini fronts is it? I'm getting confused now with Mondeo rears and stuff.
So mondeo rears and mini fronts both fit the mr2 front. Is that all minis or mini cooper only?

The Mini links are for the rear of the Mini Cooper S, but fit on the front of the MR2. No drilling required as Paul T said. The links for the standard mini do not fit (I tried these before I got the correct ones - the ends face in opposite directions, unlike the MR2 ones).

Front:
Make Model: Ford Modeo 2000
OEM: 1127648
OEM: 1S715C486AD
Firstline: FDL6605
Quinton Hazell: QLS3313S £30.90 Pair (AllParts) M10 Bolts with flats & Allen head - 255mm Centres 8mm Bar
#### Note, the stud on one end needs to be trimmed down 10mm in order to fit to the shock (I have Yellow Billies) ####
The Cooper ones were visibly about an inch shorter and less 'substantial'
Rear:
Make Model: Volvo S40/V40 Mitsubishi Carisma
OEM Mits: MR121680
OEM Mits: MR272116
OEM Volvo: 308731009
OEM Volvo: 30884358
Delphi: TC928 £31.90 Pair (AllParts) M10 Bolts with flats on head - 200mm Centres 8mm Bar
Firstline: FDL6447
Moog: VVLS0014
Quinton Hazell: QLS3251S
Sachs Boge: AL3075
Vegem: AM1371
Vegem: VB1997
Both were a perfect length fit, and correct diameter stud.
Despite my Original droplinks showing no sign of wear when tugged by hand, the new ones are noticably less rattly on the road.

i ordered the mondeo ones but the motor factor got delivered and accepted the fronts instead of the rears that they had ordered So will need to wait until next week before I can get round to picking them up.
Buying ford parts from motor factors is so refreshing. They actually go and look stuff up instead of asking for chassis numbers. Cool

I just wanted to confirm to everyone that these drop links fit standard shocks and anti-roll bars perfectly.
All 4 went on with no problems and saved me a beautiful £140!

Bargain!
Mine were about £30 a pair I think, but when I was quoted £100 a pair for the MR2 ones I wasn't complaining!

I like being lazy, so ordering the parts online would be great but I cant find a decent website to order them through, can you point me in the right direction?
I assume the droplinks are the same for all revs? I've got an N/A rev3..
Cheers!

O.k guys gonna through a spanner in the works I think
I have Tein`s and my front drop link ends are opposites and they are to long as I have lowered it a little further and now the ARB`S are touching.
SO I need drop links that are "shorter" and "opposites" at either end.
Any ideas welcome.
Cheers, Lewis.
