Rear Spoiler Removal

Hi can anyone help me, how do u remove the MK2 side pods (rear spoiler) ie are they glued or bolted on and how do u get to them if bolted Many Thx Bomber

I take it your talking about the revision 1 three piece spoiler?

The sides of the spoiler are held on with 3 bolts each side, these bolts are accessible through the boot.

They're a bit of a pain in the a*se to be honest, there are 2 bolts fixing each which you access from underneath by pulling back the boot carpet, i think the nuts are 10mm from memory.

if u have a rev3 like me, yes i used a deep socket 10mm to get those nuts off, i replaced mine with a rev5 spoiler now. :)

BUT!!! be careful not to let the nut drop inside the boot lid!! i used tweezers and selotape to get the last turn off.
