Rebuild Help

Post by CurtisRW »

Hi there,

I am looking to rebuild my 89 MR2's 7rib 4age since it has knock and is leaking oil very badly. But...I don't really know what I am doing

Could someone let me know a list a what parts I will need. I know that different builds are different but if you can tell me all the bits I will need to replace as stock then I can at least start to price together the build and figure out If I will have the budget for extra power i.e better quality internals

If anyone can recommend places that sell decent parts in the UK as well that would help since most of what I am finding is US based.

Thanks in advance :)

We've got some good UK suppliers like TCB, eBay is often a good option, but Toyota too are best for gaskets.

Give tcb a call, tell em what you're up too and they'll guide you.
