I don't want to spend a fortune on this but I've ordered some new Pioneer speakers for my 98 MR2 and as I'll have the doors apart to fit them, was wondering if it's worth sound dampening here?
The main problem is road noise. When I get on the motorway I can barely hear anything unless I turn it right up, sounds like the noise is coming straight through the tyres.
Am I wasting time deadening? Any product worth trying? Don't really want to lose the engine rev noise because that's half the reason I have this car
Sound dampening for doors, worth it? Easy?

Sounds like tyre choice imo
