So, after some absence, over the last couple of years - the 2 is finally finished.

Ive re-named the Beast to -- The Predator.

Pics and spec to follow..:) some will have seen her at Japfest, Silverstone.

Going to Surrey Rolling Road with Andy, andro007, on Saturday 03.06.17 - attempting : 1000bhp from 2 MR2's - a challenge...:)

Should be interesting...

Modifications :

Exterior :

Hydro dipped fibre glass panels :

1. Wing panels - driver and passengers from wings.
2. Boot lid, winglets and spoiler
3. Ask F40 - engine lid, fibre glass and hydro dipped.
4. Overall bodywork - in very good condition.
5. Glass T-bars - hydro dipped.
6. Glass t-bars - flocked interior.
7. Rare Ganador wing mirrors - in Carbon Fibre.

Interior :

1. Flocked dash
2. flocked door cards.
3. Replacement gator for the gearstick.
4. Seats - Corbeau Rs1 bucket Seats.
5. Cobra tailored subframes - custom fitted to seats
6. Dash 2 - re-wired looms to the rear bulk head - 2017
7. Data logger - re-wired looms to the rear bulk head - 2017.

Fuel system :

1. Oil cooler
2. Catch can
3. fuel pumps
4. Twin Goodridge -06 fuel lines,
5. ATS fuel Rail
6. Goodridge -06 series return fuel rail.


Ignition system :

1. 1ZZ COP coil packs with custom wire loom.

Clutch :

OS Giken Twin plate

Gearbox :

1. Rev 3 Turbo g/box - reconditioned - 01.01.17
2. ATS - up rated CV joints.

ECU :

1. Link G4 extreme .
2. New loom in the engine bay.
3. Fuse box moved boot - water proof.
4. Ecu - pre-programmed for different Boost settings.
5. Active knock control
6. traction control - via ECU.

Turbo :

1. ATS Racing GT35R with re-routed Tial waste gate.

Engine :

1. 2.2 - 5S-GTE - custom made engine - a one off.
2. Engine details -
3. Aquamist/ Methanol system -
4. Breather system


Cooling :

1. Mitishibo radiator
2. Custom made Intercool, designed for max. cooling efficiency - out of the rear of the boot.
3. Custom made Inlet manifold - - designed for max. air flow.
4. Throttle body - 80”
5. Mitishibo fans.
6. Mitishibo shroud

Wheels/ suspension :

1. BC coil-overs - Race Series. KM seires.
2. These are 18" BK Racing 299 wheels.

They were white, but refurbished by Pristine Wheels in MK in BMW graphite grey. They were then fitted with stainless steel imitation split rim bolts and new stainless steel tyre valves. The center caps have all been painted black, with OZ center badges.

Tyres are:

225/40/18 Falken FK453 rear
215/35/18 Falken FK452 front

Wheels are all 7.5x18 - Offset 38 all round.

Date of refurbishment by Pristine Wheels: 31/03/15
Cost of refurb: £325
Cost of split rim bolts: £42
Stainless Tyre valves: £19
Tyres purchased 30/04/15 and cost: £360

With tyres only purchased last year, they're still in good condition with plenty of tread left.

Total cost of refurb (wheels refurbished, split rim bolts, stainless tyre valves and tyres) = £746

3. Uprated Droplinks
4. Custom rear strut brace.
5. Polyutherane bushes all round

Brakes :

1. Big brake conversion
2. Front discs : 325mm diameter.
3. Braided hose lines all round.
4. DOT 4 fluid.
5. 4 pot front GT4 brake calipers.
6. All Calipers refurbished and powder coated/ painted - 2015.

Engine details - this engine WAS built by Simon at Predator Performance, Southampton, 2017.

a. 5s block from ATS - USA - ported and gas flowed.

i. - Toyota Camry 2.2ltr 1999 Engine Block with crankshaft, bored, honed, decked, oil squirter fabrication & thermal treatment
- Rev1 Turbo Sump and Pick Up
- Rev3 Turbo PORTED Head, surface grind, re-shim
- Custom Made aftermarket Cams - one of Kelford cams from New Zealand.
- Adjustable timing pulleys
- HKS Stopper Head Gasket 1.2
- Oil pump and gasket.
- Custom idle control bracket.
- Custom pipework to the intercooler and return.
- Thermostat - Race - low temp.
- Inlet and Outlet Valves - over 100 shims were measured for clearance and only the closest 16 were used.
- Kevlar Cambelt HKS
- Hydraulic tensioner
- Idle bearing
- Fidena flywheel 5S.
- Fully balanced and lightweight crank.
- D-1 spec, Radiator cap - 1.2bar.
- Cambelt Tensioner Bearing
- Alloy Alternator Pulley
- Phenolic Rev3 Spacer
- Standard cast exhaust manifold, extrude honed and thermal treatment
- New King bearings all round, ceramic coated
- Wiesco 87.5mm Forged 8:3 compression pistons - custom design
- Eagle Forged rods
- ARP Main, Head and flywheel bolts
- ATS GTX3576R turbo unit with 2.5bar tial wastegate V band
- Downpipe with re-routed screamer back to downpipe
- All new engine gasket set - throughout.
- Custom single exhaust through a 3” leading to a 4” tip.
- Exhaust manifold - internal ceramic, external base ceramic plus Black Satin coating applied to cast manifold.

- EXHAUST manifold upgraded to a Sports manifold this weekend - 27.05.17
- Wideband gauge
- Exhaust EGT Temp sensors in exhaust manifold
- Top feed injectors 1000cc
- ATS fuel rail, top feed
- Fuel pressure regulator
- Catch can.
- Custom Rev 3 head steel cover.
- Walbro 255lb Fuel pump, in tanks then X2 fuel pumps 044’s in boot of car and -06AN lines
- Water injecton system to help supress detonation
- Oil Micro filter 15mm and sandwich plate
- New Ignition components - COP + ECU.
- 3” manual exhaust system cut-off valve kit.
- New water pumps.
- Oil - Millers 10/ 60
- new high lift springs.
- Mishimoto magnetic oil drain sump plug
- Race Technology - DL1 mounting kit
- Race Technology - 2m serial lead
- Race Technology - DL 24way Connector
- Race Technology - Fuel/ Oil Temperature sensor
- Race Technology - Fuel/ Oil Pressure sensor
- Race Technology - Push button x4
- Race Technology - 2 channel 315Mhz wireless Transmitter/ receiver - on steering wheel.
- Sparco Two button steering wheel switch assembly.
