Hey guys, so by a lot of luck I've just got my hands on a set of genuine roof bars for the hardtop. Question I have is about spacing between them. The set I got didn't come with the spacer bars that go between the towers, so at the moment I'm just guessing by photos online. Does anyone happen to have the spacer bars to provide measurements so I can fab some up in the long run, and for now just space them with a rule. Cheers!
Photos can be provided to prove the genuineness of this post!

Re: Question for anyone who has genuine roofbars
Unsure what the confusion is! I've been searching for genuine Toyota roof bars so I can transport my mountain bike without having to take out my passenger seat. It works perfectly and is quick release so doesn't stay on longer than the trip.
Toyota designed them with a spacer bar between the towers so they align at the appropriate spots on the gutter rail, I.e. Not too close to the rear. This spacer bar is the piece I'm missing and seeking information about. Would a photo help?

First i've heard of such a thing.
Re: Question for anyone who has genuine roofbars
There was an OE option hard top and OE option T top rack. Both are rare, the latter even rarer.
Re: Question for anyone who has genuine roofbars
I have seen them for AW's but never heard of them for Sw's
Not 100% but I don't think the second example there is OEM...

Nah that's OE, just like the SW20 shed

Wow!
Although that bar should be easy to have fabricated up if needed. The chances of finding a genuine one are very slim.
It looks like just a straight piece of metal drilled would do no?

Mmmm that's what I intend to do, I just want to make sure I get the length somewhere close to what it's supposed to be, though from the pictures above I might just put them about in the same place and go from there!
