Modified MR-S - Bodykitted, Gulf Racing Livery & lots of parts

Post by oddshoes »

Hi All

Sadly with our wedding coming up shortly and having had a Muntjac running out in front of me in November causing not to much damage it cracked the fibreglass on the front bumper pulling the bumpers mounting point ou of the drivers wing and damaging the drivers side front wing by tearing the metal. I have been offer a more sensible daily drive (diesel ford focus estate) I am going to offer my Gulf up for sale as I know she is worth alot more in parts. I am still currently using her as she is drive able but I am reluctant to put any more money into the Gulf at the moment.

I bought the car this July which had been off the road for 2.5 years and got it through an MOT in August and have been using it most days as my daily and driven about 3000 miles since she passed it with no problems, apart from the daft animal running out in front of me last month. She was imported in 2005/6 with only 43K KM's on her and been converted to miles from then and is currently at 65K

Specs

MOT'd till 10th August 2017
2001 MR-S
65K miles on on the clock but the first 43k of that is KM's with I think is about 26K miles
Gulf racing colours (as used on the Damd demo car)
Top Secert front bumper needs replacing
Damd Street slidder side skirts
Damd Street Slidder side vent
Damd Street Slider rear bumper
TRD diff
TRD Lightened flyywheel
TRD Short shifter
Coilovers
Cusco 4 point front under brace
Cusco Upper suspension brace
Cusco Belly Pan
Cusco Front Sway bar
Cusco Rear Sway bar
Cusco brace to subframe
Tanabe exhaust system
Che Manifold
K&N Panel filter
Aftermarket 15 inch black non staggered alloys running staggered Toyo tyres.
Special MR-S Dials
Endless Brake disks and pad
Braided brake lines
TTE Style engine fan kit made by Patrick Chambers

Ideal project for a enthusiast; If I was getting married soon and then looking to start a family hopefully I would do it myself but also having a mk2 mr2 with a 3ltr v6 in it I cant really justify it or having 2 toy cars and a daily. I know that I am not the most well know member on here but I am sure that there are other members that know me and know what I am like that could vouch for me.

As for the price if the car didn't have the damage I would think it would be worth around £2500 so looking for £1750ono

Dave

Does it use any oil? How much life left in the tyres?

Hi all

I am now back from my honeymoon sorry for not answering any message or PM's I really dont want to go through breaking it as its such a unquie car and I think it should be kept as a whole.

I have a few other places to post as well but I did put a value on it that was slightly than I expected to get so why not put up a genuine realistic offer for the entire car please and you never know I might agree
