need to sort an engine. the pictured engine has come up and inwanted to confirm if its rev 1/2. my cars rev 2

and does it really matter?

Looks like a Rev 1 turbo engine to me.

I would say rev 2 as it has a shorter intake to the throttle body and 2 vac pipes coming from the top of the throttle body, rev 1 only have 1 pipe.

Sorry yeah, Rev 2. Didn't see the other pipe off the throttle body.

so were 100% its rev2?

It looks like a rev2, but if you wanted to be 100% you could always ask the seller to let you have the engine vin number and look it up.

Hi Paul, i did ask. Unfortunately he sold the engine before getting back to me with specifics.

back to square one :S
