Hello as i have just had this for about 3 weeks ill post from StuMR2lee"s ad.

I Dont want to sell this as it is one of the best MR2s in the UK.
Now driving a big Single turbo Supra!

i have all so had Luke do some work on it from PW and he Loved the MR.

Back up for sale as now replaced Gearbox/Driveshaft oil seal (had a very slight leak that I'd been meaning to sort for a while). New Castrol Gearbox oil. Gear change would now put most new cars to shame.

Very subtly/tastefully modded.

Very quick car. Easily capable of 300bhp with the mods it has I would think (not been on a dyno)

Excellent condition inside & out in my opinion.

These do not come up very often in this condition and it pains me to even think about selling but other projects are potentially calling as i approach 50! I'm in no hurry to sell so will not be accepting silly offers.

I've been working on many MR2's in the last 6 years so know full well how this car compares with most out there. Just ask anybody who has seen my car.

Paintwork is stunning First registered in 2000, build date 1998. Slight rust on top of T-Bar has been treated and tidied up.

Garaged since I bought it in 2012. Only covering around 2,000/3,000 miles a year in my ownership. Chassis on 128K. However, not much left underneath that is original! Quietest MR2 I've ever been in. No rattles or knocks.

When I bought the car it came with the following which are all still fitted:

Rev3 3SGTE Turbo Engine/Gearbox/Driveshaft Conversion (1994 Engine)
Apexi GT Full Stainless Exhaust (I added the Active silencer)
Apexi Air Filter Induction Kit (new genuine Apexi filter from Nengun Japan 2015)
HKS BOV – recirc adapter fitted but not recirc pipe (better noise imho)
Uprated Intercooler (Greddy Copy) & Fan (added by me). GTSChris Shroud fitted
Grooved Discs
Whiteline Uprated/Adjustable Anti-roll bars

Since I’ve owned this car in the past 4 years I have fitted:

Wheels, Suspension & Running Gear
Full Polybush Kit – Suspension/Engine Mounts/ARBs
All ball joints, drop links, track rod ends, inner arms, power steering rack replaced
Rear track arms dismantled, cleaned, and copper-greased
Black Bilstein Shock Absorbers (good used low mileage nearly new set)
New Spax Lowering Springs (2015)
New Blueprint top mounts (August 2016)
Stainless steel bolts on most of the undertrays
Replacement Rear Subframe (captive nut went) – Painted Black
Matt Black Lenso D1R 5 Spoke 17” Alloy Wheels (8” Front/9” Rear with 33 & 43 offset)
Rainsport 3 Tyres all round – less than 500 miles ago. 245/40 & 215/40

No faults at all. Being a UK car it has no aircon. Sills have been repaired/replaced where necessary. Solid car.

Chassis has done around 128K miles but everything underneath has been pretty much replaced! Protected inside with waxoyl stuff.

The Turbo engine/gear box I was assured had done considerably less miles than the chassis and I believe the cambelt was changed on conversion (2012).

Drives like a new car. This car has received so much love and attention you will not be disappointed.

I have a pair of Greddy (copy) skirts that I was in the process of customising and blending to a spare set of side vents (bars removed). Reason being I wanted as close to oem fit as possible. May include these in the sale depending on agreed price. Pictures shown (previous wheels) when I was trial fitting them.

MOT Until July 2017
Last MOT Advisories:
Front Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (2.7.3). Having checked this it wasn't leaking. The misting was just from the CorrosionX I use to protect the suspension components. Whilst checking them I fitted brand new topmounts. Picture shown of when shocks were off the car being checked.

Exhaust noisy (7.1.4). I forgot to put the Active Silencer in for the MOT!

Price background: A Rev5 NA in this condition is £2,000+, add on the awesome Rev3 Turbo Engine/Gearbox, plus the rebuilt/replaced running gear, sort after Lenso staggered wheels/brand new tyres, plus host of other subtle mods. Good luck building a car of this quality/spec for my asking price. I've seen tatty Rev3 Turbo's for £3K to £4K that need a respray, new suspension, and decent wheels/tyres. Check out the cost of doing those improvements and getting a car to this level. I'm probably under-pricing it!

Don't expect loads of invoices from so-called specialists. My car does not see a garage (other than my own) as my friends and myself are fully capable of doing pretty much any job on an MR2 and have all the tools/facilities at our disposal. My garage is affectionately known as the 'Essex MR2 Hospital'. I have an inspection pit if you want to look underneath. Not many MR2’s have been maintained to this level. Very easy car to work on as practically everything has been apart, cleaned, & copper-greased at some point in my ownership.

£4500 with out them.
