Standard Mk1b Teardrop Wheels wanted

Post by Boddney »

Hi has anyone in Norfolk/Suffolk got any Mk1b wheels they want rid of for beer money or give me a price.
My son wants a set that he can practice refurbishing on and polish up for his Yaris. He would need the wheel nuts and centre caps to if possible.
Thanks,
Bod

I've got a few sets of old wheels knocking around. Pop over sometime and we'll sort something out

I have a set of Mk1a wheels in the back of the garage somewhere. They are pretty rough as I remember, but might be good to just practice on? Wouldn't want much for them as would be glad of the space!

£10 collected or £15 delivered? Not sure what the scrap value would be! I need to get my garage cleared out, so would just like to get rid of them. As I said, think they are pretty rough, but would be fine to practice on. They still have tyres, though doubt they are any good now.

I'm in Bowthorpe, by the way.

Great Andy. When would be a good time to collect?

Can you not give mk1a wheels away? I've got six of them - nobody wants them! I think they look good on similar era Toyotas.

Worth remembering that the MK1a wheels are 5.5" and the teardrops are 6" wide.

Same here David. We think they look good and will look great on Dans '99 Yaris.
We got the 1a wheels from Andy but still need centre caps and wheel nuts if you can help out there and we are willing to pay.
We got a price from Neil Jones the MR2 breaker man and he wanted gold bullion prices so he can keep them.

Cheers
Bod.

Thanks Lauren,

They'll probably be better on the Yaris as the standard ones are like bicycle tyres anyway.
