Its a button yes , but for what. Is it part of the car as stock.
Maybe the clifford alarm system ? Pushed it numerous times,
whilst engine running and not. nothing happens !

There is also the almost speaker looking thing next to it, similar to
one of those speakers you get in a birthday cards we all hate !

Never had any problems with either, just wondered ?

That's not stock mate. Wonder if it's some sort of cut off/ prime for the fuel pump. Doesn't explain the piezo type speaker though. Where do the wires lead to?

Looks a bit like the first generation sat navs where you pressed the button, got thru to a call centre and the voice directed you to where you were going. Course it could also be launching weapons in North Korea too...

To be honest mate, thats probably the best explanation...... the Missiles bit !

I would guess either valet mode for the alarm or an alarm overide.

Or have a dig around and see if you have any empty bottles of NOS also hidden behind something.

So I have now removed and pulled the wire out that followed all the way to the boot through the bulkhead into a large box that i had no idea was hidden in the car. It seems to be something to do with either the alarm or a tracking system thats now redundant ?

Ill get some pictures up soon.

HAHA yeah TBH I want to know myself, but as the car starts and runs fine as
it is I'm not going to prod around too much, I pulled all the wire through and cable tied it up into an 8 loop and left it hidden under the boot carpet as the box is.

Im going to pay a visit to a Clifford alarm specalist in the future to try and sort some issues with it. hopefully they will be able to advise WTF it is then lol.
