MK2 'frunk' gas ram kits

Post by Chris_9011 »

After a good few years of development (sorry), I'm now in a position to offer the gas ram sets for the frunk.
They come as a pair of rams (one for each side)

at the moment, I need to take funds first and then order the parts, they are on a next day delivery from the supplier, so once they arrive, I need a day turn around for modification and then they can be posted out to you good folk... so expect delivery around 3 days after I have received everyone's payment. I unfortunately need to get at least 10 people's names on the list to be able to keep the costs down to a decent level, so once I've got to a minimum of 10 names, I will start asking for payments...

The front kits are priced at £60 a set posted to anywhere in the UK and come with full fitting instructions...

If you are interested, please add your name to the list below, many thanks:

1. - Dawesy (MR2OC - front)
2. - Madmr2man (MR2OC - front)
3. - Jacktempleman (MR2OC - Front and Rear)
4. - Samreedy (MR2OC - front and rear)
5. - Paul Woods (MR2OC - front)
6. - Scott Barton (IMOC - front)
7. - jcurtis (MR2OC - front)
8.
9.
10.

...also for sale, is the gas ram kit for the engine lid, I can do a combined cost of £100 when bought together. Please see the following link for the engine lid gas ram kit:

You wouldn't perchance ship to germany would you?

Also a hint/side note: always install the rams with the piston facing down. This keeps the lip seal oiled which stops it from drying out and losing pressure

I've shipped throughout the world, so yes of course

Thanks for the tip, I'll try out turning them around tonight on mine and see if they still fit... I think the larger section will be too big on diameter (I think I tried it when designing the final product, but I'll double check to make sure)

Sorry guys, I've had a really busy couple of weeks at work, so I've kind of let this slide for a while... I'll PM everyone who has expressed an interest in the next couple of days with payment details, and then once everyone has either paid or said no thanks, I'll get the parts on order and we can go from there...

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris

I'll take PKMr2 slot for both a front and rear kit if he pulling out. Just PM payment details and I'll get it sorted
