There are a few option:

-Upgrade headlight wiring and fit better halogen bulbs, Osram night breakers or something similar
-Retrofit a crappy H4 HID kit which will have a beam pattern all over the place
-Ebay has plenty of cheap headlight housings with clear lenses, search 7x6 or H6054
- Roguesystems did offer a twin headlight replacement unit but the link I had saved is dead
-Retrofit a proper HID unit into a 7x6 headlight housing but that requires a lot of work

Just fitted a pair of Raybrigs with Osram Nightbreaker bulbs. Very happy with the results and an excelent improvement over the stock glass lenses with cheap bulbs.

bulbs were cheap @ about £13 from ebay, the lenses were not cheap but worth the money as they are a decent upgrade, but do cost around £100 plus postage.

Note, that is for one lense, of course you need 2.

I'd be wary of any 7x6 headlights sold as 'projector' headlights, they usually have some crappy optic fitted in front of the H4 bulb and are in no way a true projector (plenty of chinese headlights on ebay like this).
