Peter G At SBits

Right, I seldom post on trader feedback, in fact I do not think I ever have on IMOC!

But.. I have had this vibration and `snatchy` feel to my car for months! Now I am finally getting somewhere close to being sorted with it and it is from Peters investigation work taking reference points and measurements from both sides of my car, all the front suspension gubbins where the ball joints and track rod arms are etc. See below copied from my thread -

`Had my `snatchy` steering issue looked at by Pete yesterday at SBits. Some strange issues! Also been getting vibration at 70+.

Control arms different lengths, knackered front ball joints, polybushes missing and instead old worn bushes in there when I had previously paid somebody else a couple of years ago to fit a full kit! Also, my steering rack needs adjustment and I have a spigot ring missing from one of my front alloys.

So new bushes and balljoints have been fitted, spigots ordered and I will need to take it in another day to sort the steering rack. This is the cause of my wheel rubbing on the near side, but weirdly the driver side does not scrub! It is because the turn is not equal it is bias to the left wheel.

I have been struggling with these problems above for many months now, and have wasted money on tracking/geo setups about 4 times, and finally I have answers and solutions to my problems! Getting somewhere at last.

Big thumbs up to Pete! [thumleft]
