I'm having issues with my speedometer. I've changed the capacitors but still the issue remains.
Anyone got an idea of what is wrong?

The video is me just turning the ignition on, when reversing it registers a speed, but the problem seems to not affect the actual speed reading past 30mph

Well I've unplugged my gear box sensor and the needle still jumps up so I'm guessing it's either the wiring or the speedo unit. May have to purchase one to test

Oh lawd this reminds me of my old MR2s. xxxx always jumping about or erratic sweeping of dial.
I thought it came down to an earthing problem in the end. Mine didn't look exactly the same as yours, but worth checking out.
Good luck.
