JAE Pics & Comments Thread

Post by Scott Barton »

Well a great time was had by all, we drank, we dressed up, we ate piggy and we drank some more! JAE2015 was a very good one! And we had Mario and Peter join us too all the way from Duderstadt and Berlin.
Roll on 2016!

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Huge thanks again for an epic weekend. I've got a real case of post-JAE blues this morning!

The stand looked awesome and it was great to catch up with everyone again after a couple of years. Here's to 2016! 8)

Yep, it's one of my favourite elements of JAE. Everyone parks up and, aside from an occasional spruce-up, completely ignores the cars for three days

...which is pretty useful for the growing number of us interlopers ;)

Had an amazing time again this year. Got back in another car today drove another six hours back down to a work do, about half hour from Newark, doh.

Nice place though, spa, gym, food, drink, all paid for by my work. Not all good though had to work for whole three hours.

Just popped my JAE cherry :D

I had a great time - hopefully I at least introduced myself to most if not all IMOC folks over the weekend and was also good to see old faces as well as put some name to new ones. All the cars looked fantastic, especially impressed with Lee's 3S swapped Mk3 - awesome little car.

Had a great time, though I spent most of it focusing on the cars. The AE86 got a huge amount of attention which kept me busy, then there were all the other people I got to chat with doing my rounds of the stands and seeing old friends and making a whole load of new ones.

I rather enjoyed the Japanese food and felt a whole load better as I didn't have a single burger all weekend!

Mark got a bit carried away on Saturday with his new friend, Woody, but let's just say that it got a bit messy later in the evening after port was consumed. A mega hangover ensued and Mark got little sympathy! ;)

A huge thanks to Scott and Rob for all their efforts into making it such a great event. :+:

What was that firepiss that Peter had? I think it was 99% pure isopropyl alcohol infused with raw ginger and jolokia chillies.

Chilli Schnapps. Tastes like sh*t basically. Had it in Duderstadt two years ago.

You'll only try it once!
