Post by swordfish »

Hi Guys here is my 1992 JDM Rev2 Mr2 GT Turbo Tin Top in silver mist grey (colour 187)

I recently bought it and plan to use it as a project come weekend toy ,I am from Greenock in Scotland 30 miles west of Glasgow and the car I bought has been in the same area prior to me buying it ( Dunoon and largs ) although I have never seen it before

--------------------- update

so today one of the main jobs when I got the car was the alternator was there but the previous owner assured me it was working ( pinch of salt ) anyway put a new belt on went to connect it up only to find the plug had been cut off , so rewired the connection to fit the current configuration , tightened the belt and hey presto its charging again :)

then started to clean up the wheels with some autosol

also found out while I had it jacked up its got a LSD box \:D/

along with this in the frunk , Ive been told its part of the traction control and assisted brake set up

it has the premium 8 speaker sound system

each of the marker /reflectors also have the bulbs fitted and also work when the car is running

basically get it running nice and and go from there , I've already bought some bits n bobs from a friend who had spares lying about ,

ive got a set of rev 3 lights and panel , wheels and other cosmetic bits

I was going to keep it stock but after seing the amount of mr in the community I would like to take it further

so time will tell :)

they currently have these installed that's why I was looking for information of a previous owner(s)

Very tidy - I especially like that all the JDM orange lenses are still intact. I even thought about putting them back on mine :D
