[Mk2] [Turbo] FITTING 180 MPH CLOCKS

Post by Kupton83 »

Hello to all,

New member of the forum,
I have picked up a '91 Turbo a few weeks back been slowly going through sorting bits out and have reached a point i could do with some advice on. Great little car though, closest sports car ive had to the old starions of days gone by.

I have got a 120mph speedo fitted and has been de-limited. As far as i can tell, only the clock face has been changed to MPH.

I am trying to fit 180 mph clocks, but my question is has anyone fitted 180mph clocks from a N/A, and if so whats involved?
I have an aftermarket boost gauge and have seen a thread how to get the N/A voltmeter to work on a Turbo which i intend to do.

Its just getting the speedo to read accurately on the 180 dials i need help with.

Many Thanks, and i have searched and will continue to do so!

It's safe to assume so, will check tonight to confirm.

It's recorded on V5 as a '90 on a H but has ABS so assumed '91 but who knows.

Either way very much a Rev 1
