J-1 Rev 4 - Road car - 3SGTE

I'll do a better write-up when I get home from Africa (20th June!), and have cleaned the car and taken better photographs.

Plans - not much to be honest. Just want to enjoy it on the road and maybe the odd track day (I've already bought braided brake hoses... )

lovely.. love the wheels. it's the best body/colour/trim combo too (i'm biased obviously)

I wouldn't do a thing to it, other than maybe fit a deeper front lip (aeroware or similar)

That's beautiful. I bet once you get stuck in your imagination will take over and you'll think of plenty more stuff to keep you busy :D

As promised, a write up on the new wheels…

I’ve only driven the car for around 4 weeks and have really enjoyed being behind the wheel of a proper turbocharged car again. The car has the odd age related blemish but is in otherwise mint condition.

I’ve added braided brake lines, and don’t intend on doing anything else.
It already has fully adjustable D2 coilovers and camber bolts, along with the usual performance related bolt-on modifications.

Overall it's fast and handles very nicely.

My 3 year old son, Olli, loves the car and always want to go in “Daddy’s super-fast car”… He sure does love BOOST!

I find them quite hard. Definitely harder than the fully adjustable Teins I have on the track car, but they do feel capable on roundabouts...

Considering selling this due to complete lack of use!

I knew I wouldn't use it much, but doing 50 miles in what will be 12 weeks by the time I'm home from work is a p1$$ take!

90% sure I'm selling this now.

I don't use it enough to justify it, and it would free up some cash to get the track MR2 finished and on the road sooner.
